La Boulangerie / The Bakery

La Boulangerie is our latest addition of quality accomodation at Le Pont D’Albart. The cottage was reconstructed as new on the site of the Old Bakery serving Le Pont D’Albart. It is detached and so benefits from good privacy.
Like all our cottages it has been built with comfort in mind with excellent insulation, full double glazing and oil central heating /hot water. There are lovely lakeside or rural views from the dining areas and bedrooms.
Recently renovated in 2010/2011, it occupies over 100 square meteres of space on two floors .
It benefits from solid oak parquet flooring throughout and private garden area accessed directly from the lounge .
Ground Floor ;
Entrance door leads to hallway with modern shower room opposite . The shower room has a toilet, sink plus built in shower with strong water pressure. To the left of the entrance is a good sized open plan kitchen /dining area .
The modern fitted kitchen has a gas cooker/oven,fridge freezer,microwave,toaster and coffee machine.Good selection of cutlery and crockery .
The dining area has a large pine table with seating for 5 and lakeside /farmhouse views. The lounge with comfortable seating for 5 people runs off the dining area . It is equipped with coffee table and TV unit housing TV, DVD player and English freesat television box. The lounge has a patio door leading to the private lawned garden with table bench , BBQ and sun loungers and washing line .
1st Floor ;
The hardwood staircase leads from the dining area to 1st floor landing and is fitted with a stairgate . There is a large built in wardrobe on the landing for the second bedroom.
Large master bedroom with kingsize double bed and comfortable mattress .There are side tables,chest with reading material and the benefit of a large 3 door built in wardrobe with iron and ironing board .The bedroom has lovely rural views .
Across the landing is the large 2nd bedroom with three single beds and side tables. This bedroom has a good vantage point for views over meadowland .
The modern second washroom with sink, W.C. and washing machine is also on the first floor .
The cottage is non smoking and we do not allow pets – apologies for any inconvenience .
